President Cyril Ramaphosa has taken the decision to seek an urgent judicial review of the Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s report released on Friday, its findings and remedial action. “I have instructed my legal representatives to prepare an application to this effect as a matter of urgency,” President Ramaphosa said, addressing members of the media at the Union Buildings on Sunday. Kayelitsha, Ocean View; Western Cape. Western Cape Police have on Thursday 18 July 2019 confiscated 920 litres of liquor in 31 Block, Makhaza, Khayelitsha. According to statement released by Police Captain FC Van Wyk, the Police had been closely monitoring the place for some time and on several occasions did not find any liquor stored on the premises. The members received information from an anonymous source and reacted on the information. A 45-year-old male suspect was arrested for dealing in liquor without a license. The solar photovoltaic (PV) plants are part of the Scaling Solar initiative in Senegal, conducted jointly by the Senegalese authorities and International Finance Corporation (IFC) PARIS, France, July 19, 2019/ — ENGIE (www.ENGIE.com) and partners Meridiam and FONSIS have signed the EPC, Operation & Maintenance and Finance contracts for two solar PV projects of 60 MW. The North West Department of Cooperative Government, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs and other departments have started engagements to address service delivery issues in Ottosdal, Tswaing Local Municipality. Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has called on all municipalities to prioritise the maintenance of water and sanitation infrastructure to prevent pollution of dams and rivers. Sisulu made the call after receiving a briefing from Water and Sanitation acting Director-General, Squire Mahlangu, on the situation of water shortage being experienced in Mahikeng, in the North West.
