The members received information from an anonymous source and reacted on the information. A 45-year-old male suspect was arrested for dealing in liquor without a license. He is expected to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate Court soon on the mentioned charges.

In another incident, an integrated operation between the members of Ocean View detectives and the members of the Department of Sea Fisheries led to the arrest of a 49-year-old man at Carnation Road Ocean View on Thursday 18 July 2019 for possession of abalone with an estimated street value of R50 000.

The suspect is expected to appear at Simonstown Magistrate Court on the charges.
