    The City of Umhlathuze Mayor Cllr Mduduzi Mhlongo, Deputy Mayor Cllr Dudu Sibiya and Speaker Cllr Slondile Mkhize have one Tuesday 21 August 2018 received a delegation from South Korea following a visit by the Speaker in December to South Korea.

    A delegation consisting of Koreans as well as China visited the City to solicit the relationship that had already been established.

    A memorundum of understanding was entered into between the City, umfolozi college, South African Council for Graduates co-operatives Ltd and Tacoma aviation Pilot School in Korea.

    In addition to the above programs around training, provision of clean water and renewable energy will be explored in order to boost the economy and increase the employment rate of the City.
