The Beaufort West Municipality is inviting residents to attend a Municipal prayer day organised on 12 April 2019.

According to Municipal Manager, Kosie Haarhoff; the event will take place at the Rustdene Sports Ground and will be graced by the presence of President Cyril Ramaphosa, some of his Cabinet Ministers and guests from the Gift of the Givers.

Beaufort West is one of the Western Cape Municipalities hard hit by recent droughts which was experienced across the Province.

Kosie Haarhoff says the event is organised to thank God for the rains that the Municipality has received.

We will also pray for more rain to bring relief to our Gamka Dam, reservoirs and our farmers.
