    At least 25 People injured in a 23-Vehicle collision at Etwatwa, Benoni

    At least 25 people, including a child believed to be Five Years old, were injured in a multi vehicle collision on the N12 at Etwatwa near Benoni, Gauteng this afternoon 1st June 2018.
    According to ER24, their paramedics and various other services attended the scene which was described as chaotic at approximately 4:30pm.

    Rescuers found several vehicles and debris scattered across the highway. At least one truck was involved in the collision. Most of the occupants sustained minor injuries to moderate injuries. A child believed to be Five years old was found in one of the vehicles with serious injuries. ER24 paramedics stabilised the child on the scene and called for an emergency helicopter to airlift the child to the hospital.

    There were no fatalities at the scene, local authorities attended the scene.
