We are removing all the illegal signs and billboards, clearing crime and grime. We already have demonstrated in Isipingo, we also commit that this is going to happen across the city and all the towns from Pinetown to Tongaat.

The Mayor has committed the city to ongoing fight against crime and corruption, warning criminals that as the city, they will no longer tolerate any criminal elements and will push criminals out of the city towards the dark prison cells.

We are reclaiming our streets and town. Our kids, especially our girls must walk without dear of being raped or robbed in our streets. We will also not allow people to throw stones over the bridges.

The city has accepted that safety is important for the safety in realising its vision of being the most caring and liveable city in the African Continent by 2030.
