The Overstrand Local Municipality has on Wednesday 27 March 2019 shown gratitute to eight of its employees and awarded them long service certificates in recognition of their selfless service.
The awards were presented during Council meeting to:
Mgoduseni Nkunkumana who has completed 30 years working in the Hermanus Parks Department
Franklin Sherriff and CD Klaas for 25 years services in sewage tankers Department of the Gansbaai Administration
Sollie Ahrends for 25 years in street and storm water Department of the Gansbaai Administration
Mcingeleni Gogwana for 25 years in street and storm water Department of the Hermanus Administration
Danwill Cronjé for 20 years in street and storm water Department of the Kleimond Administration
Georgia Bucchianeri for 15 years in Municipal budget office and
Lorraine Botma for 10 years in Municipal budget office
The Municipal Mayor, Dudley Coetzee has thanked the employees for their dedication and service to the Municipality.
