It is official, CR7 is now a Juventus player. Los Blancos confirmed that the super star and adept Cristiano Ronaldo will join Serie A champions Juventus.
The Portuguese international superstar joined Real Madrid from the Red Devils, Manchester United in 2009 for a whooping world-record fee of 80 million pounds.
Manchester United reportedly rejected an opportunity to re-sign CR7 this summer prior to him penning a four –year deal with The Old Lady for what is believed to be worth a whooping and staggering 105 million pounds which the two clubs have consented upon.
The 33 year old professional footballer is often regarded and appraised as the best player globally and widely is considered as one of the greatest of all time. CR7 will pocket 30 million euros a year with the Italian giants.
The Portugal superstar’s move to Juventus has taken everyone by surprise. During his nine year stay at the Bernabeu, he had monumental achievements. He won the Champions League four times, La Liga twice, the Copa del Rey two times and three World Club Cups.
According to Sam Pilger, a journalist who made the revealing tweet on social media:
#MUFC were offered the chance to make a bid for Cristiano Ronaldo, but declined it and decided to spend their funds elsewhere this summer.

Real Madrid CF communicates that, in response to the will and request expressed by the player Cristiano Ronaldo, has agreed to transfer to Juventus FC.

On an individual basis, with the Real Madrid jersey he has won 4 Gold Balls and 3 Golden Boots among many other awards.
