The recently launched African Transformation Movement says it will tamper with the Constitution of the Country so as to change laws legalising abortion and the use of dagga.

The party which is formed from the alliance of African Independent Churches by the South African Council of Messianic Churches, says abortion and the use of dagga ‘are not rights when they prejudice other people.’

According to the Party’s Secretary General Servant Khukula, “these rights can’t be viewed as rights when they are working against God and are prejudicing other people’s rights.

Speaking to the Media during the Party’s North West Provincial launch at Rustenburg’s Ben Marais Hall, Khukula said laws legalising abortion and the use of dagga were passed by people seeking “cheap popularity.”

At times when Politicians want people to vote for them, they tend to accommodate everything that people want even if those things are actually prejudicing other people’s rights and are detrimental to the lives of other people

Kukhula said the ATM will tamper with the Constitution to change abortion and dagga laws even if it means that people will not vote for them.
